Ludovic conducts Saint-Saëns Samson & Delilah in Seattle

Ludovic Morlot returns to Seattle Opera to conduct concert performances of Saint-Saëns Samson & Delilah on Friday 20th and Sunday 22nd January at McCaw Hall.

Not heard in Seattle since 1965, this musical tour de force will be presented in a new concert format with on-stage orchestra and chorus, plus a thrilling star-studded cast including Yonghoon Lee (Samson), J’Nai Bridges (Delilah), and Greer Grimsley (High Priest). Ludovic has a long history of wowing Seattle audiences with breath-taking performances of French music, including Saint-Saëns and Berlioz.

Seattle Opera General Director Christina Scheppelmann recently spoke to Broadway World of the production: “The piece is so grand in scope, and yet it contains some of the most beautiful and sensual music in all of opera.
