Ludovic Morlot returns to the Seoul Philharmonic this week to conduct Berlioz’ dramatic and rarely-heard “Royal Hunt and Storm” from his opera The Trojans (conducted by Morlot at Seattle Opera last season).

Ludovic is joined by star pianist Nikolai Lugansky (his first visit to Seoul in 7 years) for Chopin, and wraps up the programme with Schumann’s Symphony No.2.

Also this month came the third instalment of Ludovic’s acclaimed Ravel cycle with the Barcelona Symphony, featuring two of Ravel’s most beloved orchestral works, La Valse and Daphnis and Chloe (complete) with the famous Orfeo Catala chorus.
